With gifts in hands, yelpers arrived for the last Yelp Elite event of 2011. These festive-filled yelpers handed over their generously donated gifts to the Salvation Army's Christmas Present Appeal and then went on through to warm themselves with some "homebrewed" mulled wine.

It's surprising that peaches are seldom used for fruit beers. I found through my homebrewing adventures that while it takes 15 to 20 pounds of raspberries or cherries to really get their character and flavor to shine in a five-gallon batch of beer, it only took 10 pounds of peaches.

When someone mentions Milwaukee, most people think of beer. The town has made its living off of the production of the popular drink, and there is no shortage of tourist destinations that center around it.
